General Meeting: Family Support and School Programs

A multilingual special-education guide was available online, with another print run planned.

**Making an IEP is really complex and has lots of stuff. Many protections and rules, but you need to know how to get to them. **

Translation and interpretation quality for special-education materials was discussed.

A possible Special Education liaison and family-support group were discussed.

Four programs—golf, basketball, skating, and peer teaching—were presented; PTSA support was discussed.

**PTSA is planning an evening event with a potluck, and math night and activities in the Gym. **

**Lunar New Year being celebrated on Thursday **

Equitable approaches to student snack needs and use of teacher PTSA funds were discussed.
