📢 ACTION ALERT: Protect Kimball’s Essential Services
Help us secure funding for 2026–27 school supports
The Families, Education, Preschool & Promise (FEPP) Levy is the backbone of the support systems we rely on at Kimball. This funding provides for reading and math intervention, social-emotional learning services, and the vital work of our Family Support Worker, Mr. Abdi, who helps our families access food, housing, and other essential resources.
While the levy was renewed by voters, the City and Seattle Public Schools are still finalizing the implementation plan. We need your help to ensure these services remain stable and clearly funded for the 2026–27 school year.
How you can help:
- Email City and SPS leaders: Ask them to clearly communicate funding plans and maintain school-based and family support services while the final plan is approved.
- Attend a Community Conversation: Join other families to speak up for our students.
- Monday, Feb 24 | 5:30–7:30 PM – Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute
- Wednesday, Feb 26 | 5:30–7:30 PM – Magnuson Community Center
Free dinner, interpretation, and childcare are provided at both meetings. Let’s make sure Kimball students continue receiving the supports they need to thrive!
