Cougar Connection - Move-A-Thon & Staff Appreciation Week

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, please join us for our last PTSA meeting, which has been moved to Wednesday, May 6th. This is a vital meeting where we will discuss and vote to approve next year’s budget, ensuring we can continue to provide 100% of basic school supplies for every student regardless of a family's ability to pay.

We will also hear directly from Principal Bogan with school updates and reflections on our year together. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow caregivers and have a direct say in how we support our Kimball community.

• When: Wednesday, May 6th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM
• Where: The Family Room
• Dinner: Provided for all!
• Kids: Families are welcome and encouraged to attend.

No RSVP is required—just come as you are. We look forward to seeing you there as we shape the year ahead!

Our incredible teachers and staff go above and beyond for our students every day. Let’s come together as a community to show them our gratitude during Teacher Appreciation Week, starting Monday, May 4!

There are many ways to participate and make our educators feel special:

• Send a Note: Encourage your student to write a heartfelt card or draw a picture. These can be delivered directly to teachers and staff throughout the week.
• Tuesday Treats: We are collecting fresh fruit and sweet treats to stock the staff lounge on Tuesday morning. Please drop these off at the school in the morning to help fuel our staff!
• Volunteer: We need a few more hands to make this week a success. Please check the sign-up link below for specific needs.

We also encourage families to share the sign-up link in your class WhatsApp chats to help us reach every Cougar family!

Our community has shown up BIG! We have officially raised $18,000 so far for this year's Move-A-Thon. We are so close to our final goal of $20,000—the same target that helped us support our students so well last year. Let's close the gap together!

Every dollar raised goes directly back to our students. These funds allow the PTSA to support vital programs and ensure equitable access by funding 100% of basic classroom supplies for the entire student body, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
