This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s about more than just movement—it’s about coming together as a community to support our students. Your donations go directly toward 100% of school supplies for every student, field trips, library books, and essential academic support.

During the event, students will rotate through a variety of fun and engaging activity stations, including:

  • 🥋 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

We are proud to partner with the Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) to ensure an equitable experience for all. Whether your student is a soccer star or a gardening enthusiast, there is something for everyone. Thank you for helping us close the gap and support every Kimball student regardless of a family's ability to pay!

💛 What Your Support Funds

💛 What Your Support Funds

Investing in an equitable and enriching experience for every Cougar

At Kimball, we believe every student deserves the tools they need to thrive. When you donate to the PTSA, your contributions go directly toward creating an enriching, equitable experience for all 350 of our students. We are especially proud to fund 100% of basic classroom supplies for every student, ensuring everyone starts the year on equal footing regardless of a family's ability to pay.

Your generosity makes these essential programs and resources possible:

  • School supplies: Provided for every student, every year, to take the burden off families and teachers.
  • Field trips: Funding for buses and admission fees so all students can participate in off-site learning.
  • Library books: Expanding our collection to ensure our books reflect the diversity of our community.
  • Recess supervision & engagement: Supporting active play and safe environments during the school day.
  • Tutoring programs: Providing academic interventions and support where they are needed most.
  • Community events: Funding our favorite traditions like the Lunar New Year celebration and Heritage Night.
  • 5th Grade Graduation: Making sure our moving-up Cougars have a celebration to remember!

We suggest a voluntary donation of $30-$60 per student if you are able, but any amount helps us close the gap and support our staff and students.

🏃 Help Us Reach Our $25,000 Goal!

Supporting school supplies and community events for every Kimball student.

Our community has shown incredible energy lately! From the high-octane stations at the Move-A-Thon to our shared meals, the spirit of Kimball is stronger than ever. We are now in the final stretch to reach our ambitious fundraising goal of $25,000.

Why is this goal so important? These funds allow the PTSA to ensure every single student has what they need to succeed. We use these donations to fund 100% of basic classroom supplies for the entire school, regardless of a family's ability to pay. Additionally, your support helps sustain beloved traditions like Multicultural Night (Heritage Night) and provides vital resources for our Family Support Worker to help families in need.

We are so close to the finish line! If you haven't had a chance to give yet, or if your employer offers a donation match, now is the perfect time to help us close the gap. Every dollar stays within our community to support our students' growth and joy.

  • Fundraising Goal: $25,000
  • Donation Deadline: April 30th
  • PTSA Tax ID: 91-6121122 (for employer matching)

Thank you for showing up for our kids and making Kimball such a special, inclusive place to learn and grow!

Join us for dinner, childcare, and community updates

We invite all Kimball families to join us for our next in-person PTSA meeting on Monday, April 22nd at 6:00 PM in the Family Room. This is a wonderful chance to connect with fellow caregivers and have a direct say in how we support our students and staff.

We have several important topics to discuss as we look toward the future of our community:

  • Next Year’s Budget: We’ll be reviewing our financial goals to ensure we can continue providing 100% of basic school supplies for every student, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Learn more about how you can share your talents! We are recruiting for next year’s board and Class Parents, and we especially encourage BIPOC and multilingual parents to join us so our leadership reflects our diverse school community.
  • Hear from Principal Bogan: Get the latest school updates directly from Principal Angela Bogan.

To make it easier for everyone to participate, dinner and childcare will be provided. We are better together—we hope to see you there!
