🏃 Move-A-Thon: Our Biggest Event of the Year!
Join us on April 1st to support our students and school supplies fund!
Get ready to move, Cougars! Our annual Move-A-Thon is coming up on Wednesday, April 1st from 9:00 – 11:00 am. This is Kimball’s largest and most important fundraiser, helping us raise the critical funds needed to support our students all year long.
Students will enjoy a high-energy morning featuring activities like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, basketball, soccer, yoga, and gardening. The money raised through our partnership with the Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) allows the PTSA to provide 100% of basic classroom supplies for every single student at Kimball, ensuring equitable access for all families regardless of their ability to pay.
We need volunteers! To make this event a success, we need community members to help manage activity stations and cheer on our runners. If you can help, please email Claire Douglas at clairedouglas1@gmail.com. Please remember to send your students to school in comfortable clothes and sneakers!
- When: April 1st, 9:00 – 11:00 am
- Where: Kimball Elementary Field/Playground
- Goal: Help us close the gap for our school programs!
